
The brand new church in Thessalonica set up by Paul was suffering both persecution and false teaching. This was causing them deep concern. Was Christianity all it was cracked up to be? Was there any future in it? What were they supposed to do while they waited? We're going to see over four weeks in the second letter to the Thessalonians, Paul reassuring them that there is a future: Jesus will return. Jesus will bring justice and good things for His people. And they should work hard while they wait!
