Books!

Often over the summer we often get a little bit more time to read, and there are a wealth of Christian books to choose from.
The best place to start reading of course is the bible itself - if you'd like to get a free copy of a gospel (which is just an eye witness account of Jesus' life) then please get in touch or pop into 91 Balmoral Road (our church building) to grab one.
There are also lots of books out there exploring the Christian faith, here are just a few that our church members have been reading recently:

Is there a God and perhaps more to the point, if there is a God, what real difference will it make to my life? A great book to read if you’re interested in Christianity but not sure of the truth or evidence.

Helps us see the key differences between Roman Catholic and Protestant beliefs and assesses them in the light of the teaching of Scripture. A great read if you’re from a Catholic background or know people who are.

This book really gets down to the basic beliefs of Christianity. Who was Jesus? Why was he crucified? Did he really rise from the dead? - perhaps some of the answers might be surprising to you.
Do get in touch if you'd like to know more at
