Christmas at Church by the Bay

We love Christmas as we celebrate the incarnation of Jesus, fully God and fully man who was born as a baby to 'save his people from their sins'. (Matthew 1:21)

We have lots of special events coming up to help us celebrate and to tell people the good news of. Do come along to the following:

This is a really fun evening with a general knowledge quiz (with the rounds very loosely themed around Christmas but no 'religious' quiz questions as we want anyone to feel welcome even if you have no knowledge of the bible).

You can come along on your own and join a team on the night, or bring a whole team along. There are drinks available to buy at the bar, free nibbles on the tables and chocolate prizes to be won. Halfway through, there will be a short talk explaining the Christian faith. All are welcome.

This is our special Christmas service especially geared to guests or people who wouldn't go along to church regularly. We have a Christmas nativity where every child gets to be involved (and is all done from scratch on the morning), crafts, breakfast, carols and a talk from the bible. We'd love to see you.

Christmas can be quite a lonely time for older folk so we love putting on Silver Service which an event for those over 55 to come along and meet new people or catch up with friends, enjoy some lovely food and usually a few table quiz questions, along with a short talk about the Christian faith. Please so come along if you're over 55 or tell those you know about it.

On Christmas Day we have a service - 10:30am at 91 Balmoral Road, our church building (this is different to where we usually meet for church, which is Westgate Primary School).
