Church Family Weekend 2015

This will be our third Moorlands and Church by the Bay joint church family weekend together. It will be a great time to get to know each other better, to encourage each other and to think about what it means to serve God as local churches as we listen to God’s word. The facilities at Ripley School will be ours for the weekend. It will be an opportunity for us to re-focus our energies on the mission for which God has called us together.

JAMES HELY HUTCHINSON

Our speaker for the weekend is James Hely Hutchinson. He is the Director of the Belgian Bible Institute, training up French-speaking gospel workers. He teaches biblical theology, Old Testament and biblical languages.

Our children will have their own team of Bible teachers and their own teaching programme over the weekend.

WHERE? The whole weekend will take place at Ripley St Thomas Sixth Form Centre, Lancaster, LA1 4RS

WHEN? Saturday 13th - Sunday 14th June.

On Saturday the programme starts at 9.30 am and ends at 9 pm with free time in the afternoon and fun activities in the evening to help us get to know each other better. 
On Sunday, we are back in Morecambe for a usual Sunday, at 10.00 am for coffee. The plan is for lunch after the meeting and then James to come over to Morecambe for the final session.
