Joint Prayer Meeting

By Lauren McCabe, 04 Feb 2025

On Sunday, we meet with seven other churches in the Morecambe Bay area to pray.

Because God is our loving Father, we can ask him for anything. But in particular, Jesus tells us to pray for what God has promised to do. We are to pray for God to be glorified as His kingdom grows and His will is done on earth (Matthew 6:9-10). In other words we are to pray for more people to come under His rule now...for people to become Christians.

That's exactly what we did on Sunday as we gathered and prayed for this specifically in each of the churches and the communities they are in. It was a great encouragement for all.

At Church By The Bay, we have weekly prayer meetings on a Tuesday afternoon and a monthly prayer lunch after the first service of the month. Please do come and join us at them if you'd like to pray for the work.
