New Series for our Bible Study groups
By Lauren McCabe, 19 Jan 2025
This term we're delving into Mark's gospel - picking out 6 passages in it that we might be able to easily use to share the gospel with a friend or family member. As Christians, God has given us the privilege and job to tell others about the good news of Jesus but it can be hard to know how to start. The best way is to take people to God's word, and hear what the Bible has to say about Jesus, the world and everything.
We call our bible study groups C3 Teams, to go alongside our church mission statement - Cherish, Church, Change. As we dig into God's Word - the Bible - together and hear him speak to us, we Cherish Christ, love Christ's Church and seek to Change Christ's World through the good news of Jesus.
C3 is for Christians new and old and is an opportunity to look at a Bible passage together and discover what God is teaching us about himself, what he has done for us in Christ, and how to live in thankfulness to him.
There is plenty of casual conversation, focused discussion, and prayer. C3 Teams meet on Wednesday evenings in various locations in church members houses. There are also Wednesday morning groups for Mums and retired ladies.
