New series on Sunday's

We meet each Sunday at Westgate Primary school. We do church all together starting at 10:30am (drinks available from 10am), followed by a small break for more refreshments and then into our teaching groups (we have groups for 0-4, 4-11, and adults and young people).

During the main service, we sing songs, pray and hear a passage of the bible explained to us. At Church by the Bay, we usually work through a bible book or part of a book (if it's a long one and return to it later) so that we're not picking and choosing what we want to hear, but are listening to the whole word of God.

We started the book of Acts last year and have picked it up again today, starting where we left off in Act 8. Acts was written by Luke (the author of Luke's gospel) and documents what Jesus was doing after his resurrection from the dead and the start of the spread of the good news to the ends of the earth.
