Platinum Jubilee lunch

This year marks the Plaitnum Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II as the nation celebrates 70 years of her reign as Queen. Up and down the country people are planning all sorts of celebrations. One exciting event that is happening in Morecambe is a special Jubilee street party happening along the prom on Sunday 5th June. 

As a church family we want to be a local church for local people for the long haul. That means we want to be involved with and known by people in our community. It is why this year we are planning to join the celebrations on the prom. What a great oppurtunity to join our community in these special and historic celebrations - making ourselves visble as God's gathered people displaying and witnessing to his grace at work among us! We will here more of that wonderful truth on Sunday morning as we also celebrate Pentecost Sunday. 

We have booked a few tables for church family and we would love you to join us! If you are able to come then please let either your C3 team leaders know, or contact Hannah directly as she plans and book tables for us. All you need to do then is bring your lunch, a chair, and £2 to cover the cost of the tables. If you would struggle to bring a chair, then please let myself (Tom) or John know so that the set up team can plan to bring some from our church building.
