Quiz Winners and True Satisfaction

We had a great quiz evening last Friday, thanks to all who came along and all who made it happen. Well done to Pamdemonium (yes Pam not Pan, named after a team member!) for winning.

Gerry spoke at the interval from John's gospel, showing us a life transformed by Jesus offering true satisfaction and joy.

We looked at John 4 and saw Jesus meeting a woman at a well. Jesus said 'But whoever drinks from the water that I will give him will never get thirsty again. In fact, the water I will give him will become a well?of water springing up in him for eternal life.’

All of us as humans are searching for fuilfilment, purpose, satisfaction. Happiness. And Jesus says: that’s what I’m offering! That’s what this eternal life is about, what you and I were designed for what deep down we long for:
 
A Relationship with God himself… Enjoying God… Happiness in God.
