Sorrow turned into joy
By Gerry Straker, 26 Apr 2017

The world seems unbeatable, almost invincible, and Christians can find themselves wondering: where is God? In Esther we find a book in the Bible that deliberately does not mention God. We find God's people oppressed in the powerful Persian Empire. And yet Esther shows how the 'hidden' God orchestrates all events to bring about massive deliverance for His suffering people. We're learning that God at work in all things, for His King Jesus (Ephesians 1:10-11) and for the good of His King's people (Romans 8:28), and unlike the kingdoms of the world, His Kingdom really is invincible and He is turning His people's sorrow into joy!
