Currently, Cafe is online on our Facebook page every term-time Tuesday 9:30-10:15am with chat, and kids storytime. Craft is delivered to mums and carers around the town. It's free! It's for all ages and stages, and we love to welcome new people. Why not pop in for a chat? Get in touch: if you would like an invite.
Once lockdown III finishes we hope to go back to Takeaway Pop up Cafe.
When from 8.50 - 9.20 am we will be outside our church building, at 91 Balmoral Road, offering free takeaway cups of tea and coffee and juices for children.
Then from 9.30 - 10.00 am we will host a Zoom meeting for you all to say hello and chat. There will be a bible story and takeaway craft bags for children to do at home. We will have a full risk assessment and are working within government guidance. It's not the same as we are used to, but it's one step closer.... We really hope you can make it.

The pop up café on Tuesday mornings term time 8:45-11:00am, at Church by the Bay (91 Balmoral Road) is free and for all ages. It is an accessible and welcoming place where parents and carers can come and relax and chat with others while your children play with quality, age-appropriate toys (some of the organisers have pre-schoolers themselves!)
Tea, coffee and squash, and toasted tea cakes are served between 9 and 11am and you can stay for as long or as short as you’d like. Dietary requirements are catered for and there is easy access to facilities to warm baby food or to make up bottles.
There is a separate area for young babies with bouncy chairs and baby toys, an activity table with various activities such as play dough, sand, coloured rice and toddler-aged toys available throughout the session.
At 9.45 there’s gingerbread biscuits and a short story from the Bible, followed by a fun craft. And then more free time to play with toys and another cup of tea.
